simulation Course Designs

Contained here you will find a variety of course designs and layouts from your typical local style courses, practice courses designed to test and setup your virtual car all the way to national level competition courses and recreations thereof.  Courses will be continually added as time allows.  Autocross and sim racing are hobby’s, the content here will ALWAYS be free!  Having said that there is time and webpage up-keep costs associated to keep this going.  If you enjoy the content and are financially able, please consider a greatly appreciated donation.

Under NO circumstances will there be any courses or combination of elements created or posted for future competitive events. So please do not inquire. A integral part of the competition and experience is getting solid course walks and to formulate a plan of execution.  Additionally most sanctioning bodies strictly prohibit pre-running the course.

All autocross courses where designed for Assetto Corsa (2014) PC only.  To install; download and extract the zipped file and then place the entire file folder into the Assetto Corsa tracks folder.

Fickle

Course design with national level speeds that will test your patience along with your ability to control balance.

Sweeping Hollow

As the name implies: Autocrossers are bad at naming things and this one is full of sweepers with some strategic cone placements to ensure that you are looking far enough ahead.

Autocross Vehicle Setup Test Course Alpha

Repeatable Circuit style test course designed to test vehicle dynamics and give the user the ability to make informed setup changes. While taking the human element out of the setup equation.

2019 SCCA Nationals East Course

This recreation should foster some nostalgia for the East Course.   Design scaling is not perfect, but it gets the job done

“You Know Nothing, Cone Dodger”  Original Designed by: Michael Feldpusch.

Davis Field

Course layout mimicking a small to medium sized local site.  Course falls on a 600’x600′ Square.

Boxing Club

Not your typical Chicago box’s but the principles are the same. its just a disguise worn by the most popular element. This course will challenge you visually, with the key cones being obscured or “lost in the noise”of cone saturation.

Arduous

Mix of higher speed sections along with slower technical linking elements.  Heads up, this one will backside you!

The Pro

Left or right? The choice is yours.  Designed to replicate the SCCA’s ProSolo format, the degree of difficulty for this one has been turned up a notch.  Both courses are very similar but not exact to better replicate typical course designs changes based on site restrictions.

Treiber Technik

This is a test course in its simplest form.  Two sweepers connected by a long 9 cone slalom and a series of off-sets.

Repeatable Circuit style test course designed to test vehicle dynamics and give the user the ability to make informed setup changes. While taking the human element out of the setup equation.

THE X-OVER

Typical Airstrip layout.  This course is on a 200’x1000′ pad with a down and back design.  At the end of the course is a “turn around” style cross over.  Turn right at the back of the course and go back through the X-OVER turning left.
